We are seeking a driven and talented Architect to join our thriving Cloud Services business unit and work with some of the best Cloud Architects and Cloud Engineers in the market. This individual will bring a passion for technology, a strong technical skill set, and an ability to deploy Production-ready solutions, software and tools for our customers.
What to expect
- Work effectively within a delivery-centric professional services team
- Support execution activities across the full project life cycle, from planning, through implementation, to operational readiness
- Lead technical discussions both internally and with customer or vendor teams
- Design and define solution capabilities that satisfy customer business drivers / requirements and meet service delivery objectives
- Produce high-quality, well-written technical documentation, including design plans, implementation diagrams, data flow mappings, and as-built documents
- Take ownership of solutions, assignments, actions items and issues, and remain accountable for their completion
- Work effectively with other team members, customers and key stakeholders and foster team success
- Provide transparent and regular status updates in requested format
- Achieve and maintain AWS or other cloud certification levels
- Map cloud solution security objectives to implementation tasks
- Install, configure specific product components per solution requirements
- Contribute to security operating model definition for cloud-based environments (e.g.: monitoring, management, tool set)
- Train internal resources on security and operational activities within the project (e.g.: monitoring, adding/updating security policies)
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience working with networking and security technologies
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, contribute and improve
- Hands-on experience working on migration projects
- Depth of knowledge of cloud platform networking, connectivity and security constructs
- Knowledge around cloud infrastructure in general and related components (e.g.: DNS, NTP, authentication, storage, logging tools, logging services, proxies)
- Depth of knowledge around encryption and certification management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytic, organization, presentation, customer service and facilitation skills
